Ross Co-produced with Worker Studio Travelin' Productions and Worker Studio are developing this transmedia narrative documentary project around the extraordinary life story of John H. Ross; a highly decorated World War II Photo Reconnaissance pilot, for whom being a hero is only part of the story. Based on John's own telling of his life story, this property will exist in many dynamic forms, starting with an animated web series that brings to life John's adventures as a P-38 "Lightning" Reconnaissance Pilot during WWII. Having flown 96 missions over Europe, there are many exciting and educational tales to share, from getting shot down and spending 24-hours in the North Sea, to evading Focke Wulf squadrons hell bent on his destruction, in order to bring back photographs of Hitler's private runway. Future transmedia components of this property will include: a feature film, graphic novel, live-action television series, and interactive geocaching experiences. |
