Michael "Ffish" Hemschoot

Michael "Ffish" Hemschoot is a veteran of the Hollywood animation and vfx community, who  graduated in 1995 from the renowned California Institute of the Arts, School of Film-Video/Character Animation program.

Along with Travelin’ Productions, Michael was also the founder of a Colorado-based Animation and Visual Effects company, Worker Studio, and is currently the Director of Tipping Point Media and  Entertainment.


Michael has been fortunate enough to work closely with some of the most accomplished directors in modern cinema, including as Pre-visualization Lead for Peter Weir on the film, Master and Commander – The Far Side of the World.

Sean Bridgers

Sean Bridgers is an award-winning filmmaker. He wrote, starred in, and produced the independent dramatic feature Paradise Falls, winner of the Best Feature award in six major U.S. film festivals.

Sean has gained success as an actor in Hollywood. He appeared as a series regular on HBO’s critically acclaimed Deadwood, and has also been seen in feature films such as The Woman, Sweet Home Alabama and Nell, as well as co-starring in the EPIX series GET SHORTY.

Travelin' Productions, LLC is an independent motion picture company formed by Sean Bridgers and Michael Hemschoot to develop and produce modestly budgeted digital motion pictures with an emphasis on telling damn good stories. For more information, please contact us.

Sean and Michael have each achieved success in their own Hollywood careers: Sean as an actor on projects like Deadwood, EPIX's Get Shorty, and Sweet Home Alabama, and Michael as an animator and visual effects artist on films like Master and Commander, National Treasure, and The Matrix. 

This filmmaking duo debuted their collaboration with the 38-minute short film, A Night at the Zoo, which starred W. Earl Brown, Christopher Berry, and Sean, and was nominated for Best Short in its 2009 premiere at the Little Rock Film Festival.  Sean and Michael have since co-directed a number of projects together, including the 2012 short film (co-produced with Category One Entertainment Group), The Birthday Present, starring Joey Lauren Adams (Chasing Amy), Sean, Candyce Hinkle (True Grit), and Sean’s daughter Kathryn. This all-audiences friendly film has screened at the Little Rock Film Festival, Oxford Film Festival, and the Waterfront Film Festival.

Travelin’ Productions blends its interest in emerging digital cinema technologies with a passion for telling traditional blue-collar stories in a fresh and innovative way.
